Course information

The duration of the training is 13 weeks, 5 sessions per week. The cost is €4364.86, but this can be fully funded by the UFT (for both employed and unemployed) - find out more about funding. You can choose from a range of lecture times (9:00, 18:00). The training will take place in modern premises in Vilnius (Aguonų g. 6-10) or remotely on the ZOOM platform (you will also receive videos of the lectures).

The course provides skills in Python, one of the most popular programming languages, which is a key tool for analysing large datasets and building models based on artificial intelligence. The data analytics covered in the course provides the ability to interpret large amounts of data and provide insights to support business decisions.

In this course, you will learn how to start your programming journey with Python, one of the easiest and most popular programming languages. In easy-to-follow steps, you'll learn how to create your first program, use basic programming tools such as variables, conditions and loops, and see how they apply in real life. You will understand how to organise your work using functions, work with files and manage data. You will also learn how to deal with errors and how to use essential tools to make your work easier. This course will help you get a solid foundation and start developing simple but useful solutions, even if you have no programming experience.

Learn how to use the GIT version control system to help you store and manage changes to your project. You will learn how to create and manage projects, save changes to your work, manage different versions and collaborate with other team members. You will learn how to work with both local and remote projects, resolve conflicts and manage project history. You'll learn about key work strategies and useful tools to make your daily work on projects easier.

You will learn how to create applications using objects and classes. Understand how to organise your code to make it clear and manageable. You will learn how to use the basic principles of object-oriented programming and apply them to real projects and data analysis.

You'll learn how to manage and analyse data, starting with collecting and integrating data from different sources. You will learn how to process data efficiently, preparing it for further analysis, and how to visualise the results using various graphs and tables. This knowledge will help you not only to make sense of large amounts of data, but also to present it in a clear, visually appealing way and to embed it in your business processes.

Learn how computers can "learn" from data using machine learning and deep learning techniques. You will learn the basic algorithms used to make predictions and analyse data, and how to evaluate and improve these models. You will learn about neural networks - systems that mimic the workings of the human brain - and how they are used in practical projects such as natural language processing. The course will help you to understand the modern foundations of artificial intelligence and their application in real-life scenarios.

You will understand the importance of testing, different testing methods and techniques such as unit tests, integration testing and automated tests. You will learn how to optimise the testing process, integrate it into development cycles and automate repetitive tasks. Topics include both theory and practical examples to prepare you to work on real projects and ensure their quality.

In this final chapter, you will carry out a practical data project, applying all the knowledge you have acquired during the course, from data processing to data analysis and visualisation. You will learn how to effectively plan and manage projects, work in a team and present your results. You will also learn about career opportunities in technology, build a professional portfolio and prepare to enter the job market with a strong practical foundation and confidence.
