The aim of this training is to help you understand how cybersecurity works and how to protect yourself or your organisation from today's increasing threats. The programme will introduce key concepts, types of attacks, data protection and practical defences that can be applied immediately.
The training is designed for those who want to gain a solid foundation in cyber security, better understand network and information systems security and learn how to identify threats in real-life situations. It is an excellent choice for beginners as well as for those working in IT or administration who want to strengthen their competences.

CTF tasks are interactive cybersecurity challenges where you will learn how to find vulnerabilities, analyse attacks and 'capture the flag' - the solution - in realistic but secure situations. These practices help you quickly understand how real cyber threats work and give you the skills used by security professionals around the world.

To be eligible for the Kursuok Learning Basket, you must meet the following criteria:
You are aged between 18 and 65;
You are a busy person;
Have evidence of higher education or professional qualifications;
You are a citizen of the Republic of Lithuania or a foreigner with a residence permit in Lithuania.
You haven't yet taken part in the training or, if you've received funding, you haven't yet used up the full €500 of your learning basket.
New training groups are usually formed every month.
For distance learning courses, we recommend having two screens (e.g. laptop + monitor or laptop + tablet), so that you can follow the lessons and practise the assignments at the same time.
The programme is designed to be suitable for people with no previous IT or cybersecurity experience. We start with basic concepts and real-life examples, and all the more advanced topics are explained in a simple and easy-to-understand way by the trainers.
