Course information

A2 Lithuanian language courses (60 hours) - нA basic level of knowledge of the Lithuanian language sufficient to meet basic communicative needs.

Achieving this level of proficiency in Lithuanian enables you to meet the most necessary communicative needs in certain situations related to everyday life when communicating with native speakers. This level provides the necessary basis for any professional activity.

Knowledge and skills acquired

  1. READING: Be able to read short texts taken from a variety of sources (magazines, newspapers, signs, signs, signposts, advertisements), understand the main and supplementary information of adapted texts of a country, information and social and domestic nature.
  2. LETTER: Be able to write a short letter, note, greeting or other communication, giving the main content of the source text.
  3. AUDIENCE: Understand the basic information (e.g. topic, place, time, reason) presented in selected dialogues and monologues of a socio-cultural and social nature.
  4. SPEAKING: Be able to initiate a dialogue in everyday situations, to hold a conversation, in particular about oneself, friends, family, studies, work, learning a foreign language, working day, leisure time, hometown, health, weather, and to construct one's own utterance on the basis of a read text.
  5. LEXICO-GRAMMATICAL SKILLS: Use grammatical and lexical skills to produce utterances as intended in a limited range of social and everyday situations.
  6. CULTURAL ENVIRONMENT: Learn about Lithuanian traditions and cultural features.
